EN10204-3.1 CERTIFICATION

Long Run Flange has PED97/23/EC and AD2000 issued by TUV Rheinland, and all the pre-material of steel bar is also purchased from the PED and AD2000 approved manufacturer. We issue the 3.1 certification according to EN10204:2004

EN10204 specifies the different types of inspection documents supplied to the purchaser, in accordance with the requirement of the order. For the delivery of all metallic products, e.g. plates, sheets, bars, forgings, castings, whatever their methods of the production. This standard may also apply to non-metallic products.

EN10204 divides inspection documents into two main classes:

-          Non-specific inspection documents are the declaration of compliance with the order 2.1 and the test report 2.2.

-          Specific inspection documents are the inspection certificate 3.1 and inspection certificate 3.2

Inspection certificate 3.1 - EN 10204:2004

The 3.1 is issued by the manufacturer authorized inspection representative, who is independent of the production department.

It declares that the products supplied are in compliance with the requirement of the order and in which he supplies the test results.

The test unit and the tests to be carried out are defined by the products specification, the official regulation and corresponding rules and /or the order.

It shall be permissible for the manufacturer to transfer on to the inspection certification 3.1 relevant test results obtained by the specific inspection on primary or incoming products he uses, provided that the manufacturer operates traceability procedure and can provide the corresponding inspection documents required.

Long Run’s quality management system is certified in accordance with the requirements of the PED-Pressure Equipment Directive. Based on this Long Run provides forgings with a PED based inspection certification, which is EN10204:2004-3.1
